Description:
This course is about ways of approaching a monologue or a dialogue for 1 or 2 actors/actresses. We work on developing our character, trying out different ways of interpreting it, learning how to bring it alive on stage and how to work with a partner. In the beginning we will try out general acting and stage tools, do a lot of group impros and warm ups to free your mind, body and emotions. We then will look at a different angle of the scene/character every week. During the course you will be asked to prepare one aspect of your scene at home every week. The course will end with a presentation of our scenes.
